Christmas 2011

Christmas like thanksgiving was fun this year. Everyone was home for the holidays. Tina made 2 turkeys and 2 hams and we ate well. Santa was good to everyone.

Mikes outfit for Halloween? Thats what he wore to school every day. He and his friends bought matching moon suits at the thrift shop and made everyone at school nervous.

Late Summer Activities

Other summer activities included butchering a cow, the boys helped process it.

We built the best pig pen ever.

And yes, Mike had a birthday in August

Fall Scout Court of Honor

The boys are doing great in Scouting. Both Mike and Davey are Life Scouts and working on their last few merit badges and their Eagle Projects.

Billy is a Star Scout with more than half of his merit badges done and he has been a Boy Scout for slightly over one year. If he werent so "Squirrley" he could be the youngest Eagle Scout we have ever had. The leaders want him to settle down for a year or two first. He just attended a special scout leaders training program at Camp Mooney during the christmas break recognizing his early accomplishments in scouting.
